He's not doing it for the cash ... he could easily remove the donations.
But there's a huge demand of em, that's why they are still active.
And he doesn't like it either that his server gets hacked all the time, you got no idea what he has been doing already to make this server one of the best of all.

And why does it takes so long? Well, I suppose he has a real life besides tibia and maybe he isn't home at all.
